Affordability: Cost of Living Increases

The Vestigo team recently partnered with an established lender for a stress testing exercise linked to cost of living increases in the UK.

The leadership team had considerable concerns on the increasing pressure on both new and existing customers due to rising living costs.

The stress testing exercise gave the client clarity on expected changes to customer affordability. This allowed them to revise their affordability algorithm used at acquisition, as well as identifying existing customers for close monitoring who were potentially ‘at risk’.
